Résumé

The core initiative research areas at SIAME laboratory of the University of Pau (France) include the development of high voltage pulse transformers and fast Marx generators, of novel power switching devices and the generation of pulsed electric fields for bio-medical applications. The most recent activities will be presented in detail, notably research developments related to ultra-fast pulsed generators powering ultra-wideband antennas, semiconductor opening switches and the application of pulsed electric fields with very short pulse duration on living cells. The studies carried out combine both simulations and experiments and are mainly concentrated on developing complete solutions for both civilian and military applications. During this plenary talk, an overview of the on-going projects being developed at SIAME laboratory will also be presented.
